This is great thanks. My only quibble is the second line of the Chorus, I don't think " they call" starts on the Gm7 I think it stays on the C7sus4 to start or at least the vocal doesn't follow this. "they" and "snow" at the versus end are not sung in the same key.

Nice! The tabs don't touch this version, and it takes a trained ear to figure out the D / Bm differences. Another way to play the D is with the thumb on the F# 6th string - it captures the bass line.

I have been trying repeatedly to download this tutorial on my youtube, 'coz I would really like to learn it, but it won't download for some reason. Can you help please? The movie, Quadrophenia never ceases to blow my mind. I have to watch it at least once a year, and that scene, when he sees the bellboy and the scooter is priceless. This is great - I'd forgotten about this song and when I remembered it I needed to learn it immediately. One note - the chord you label as A/B isn't over a B - 5 on the E string is an A. So you'd want to label it as an Aadd9, since yes it has a B in it, but not as the bass note which is what the / means. (A/B = A over B) Which I'm sure you know, I'm aware the video is a couple of years old.

Such a great lesson in standard tuning of my favorite Band song! For those of us playing acoustic, a capo at the first fret works great with your chords. Then it just feels more like you are in E rather than F.
